Hundreds of Amazon employees join a new Slack channel to support the company's return-to-office policy after 'sensing the danger' of others calling for permanent remote work

Another employee took note of Amazon's massive stock price increase during the three year period prior to the pandemic , when there was no remote work, and how it compares to the smaller 6% rise over the past three years of post-pandemic, when most people worked from home. "I look forward to the prospect of seeing more of my coworkers in the office," one of the employees wrote.

Still, remote work seems to have more support from Amazon employees, at least based on the number of people in each of the Slack channels. The one that opposes RTO, which has over 28,000 employees,
