A spokesperson John Fetterman said the Senator is 'doing well' and 'remains on a path to recovery' nearly two weeks after he sought treatment for depression while recovering from a stroke.

WASHINGTON, DC - NOVEMBER 15: Sen.-elect John Fetterman heads to a lunch meeting with Senate Democrats at the U.S. Capitol on November 15, 2022 in Washington, DC. Senate Democrats will meet later on Tuesday for the first time since the midtermA spokesperson John Fetterman said the Senator is "doing well" and "remains on a path to recovery" nearly two weeks after he sought treatment for depression while recovering from a stroke.

Fetterman, who has struggled with the aftereffects of a stroke he suffered last May, checked himself in on Feb. 15, according to his office. Fetterman was evaluated days earlier by the attending physician of Congress, Dr. Brian P. Monahan, who recommended inpatient care at Walter Reed Medical Center, Jentleson said.

Post-stroke depression is common, with one in three stroke patients suffering from it, and is treatable through anti-depressant medication and counseling, doctors say.

Replace him

So who represents us in the interim? What a shit show

His wife think she the star I bet she feed he high calorie spaghetti every day and she eats salads

John Fetterman shouldn’t have run for this prestigious position if he isn’t up for the task!

Time to consider your health, your family, your life, Mr Fetterman. Is being a well-paid political more important? Politics aside, perhaps resignation is in order.

Maybe a case of guilt

Have an employee at my workplace who went manic twice in a month and never in work. When they are, they're not doing work they're just on the phone and out of it. Not fit for the job. Scared to term bc its a disability.. Is he securing his position?

He’s a bum and his wife and TheDemocrats that forced him to continue the campaign are horrible, power hungry animals.

Lie! Rs need to have their doctor examine his mental fitness. RonnyJacksonTX Richzeoli

Theyre hiding the truth until after a certain date so the republicans dont fight a reelection

This is more than depression!!!

No one ever said it would be several weeks

The man wasn’t a good candidate to be a Senator prior to his stroke. His time as LT. Governor showed his lack of work ethic. Oz was easily the better pick of the two. Now we have a depressed and incoherent Senator representing our state. He should resign.

2 weeks to flatten the curve, liars, we need another election, without mail-in ballots

To be honest he needs the time off, he isn't fit to run office.

What would you expect his spokesperson to say? They said the same things during the campaign. Saying his health was only going to improve, and got Dr’s to co-sign. We see now that’s not the case. I mean he’s only 2 months in on a 6 year term. Don’t think this is going to work out

Bruh yah voted for someone sick and they fooled you thinking he had full recovery

Great job PA

Shame on the Democrats for running him and shame on his wife too. Totally selfish on her part. And shame on GOP for running a bad candidate that couldn’t even beat THIS.

Sen. Fetterman remains hospitalized, 'on path to recovery,’ office saysSen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) remains hospitalized nearly two weeks after he checked himself into Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington to receive treatment for clinical depression, his office said Monday. If you understood Spanish like I do & listened frequently to Central American radio on the Internet, you would find that the nightmare of the possibility of your child being murdered is much greater. Governments are taking advantage of Biden's open borders to empty their prisons. I find this odd. A friend was hospitalized for less than a week after being suicidal - and she was told an average stay is 3-10 days. I hope he is getting the help he needs though! Depression is just a cover story. Fetterman will never be the same, he will never recover from his stroke.
