Scot's cancer-stricken toddler niece without vital medication after family fled Turkish earthquake

A Scots mum is desperately raising funds for her cancer-stricken two-year-old niece after the devastating earthquake in Turkey forced her family to flee and leave the tot's vital medication behind.

She says that relief over finding out her family had survived the earthquake has now been replaced with concern for Madina's deteriorating health. She said: "They started to feel shaking and within seconds everything started crumbling around them. They basically had to run for their lives. Their apartment is on the second floor but the whole place fell through.

However, without her vital medication, little Madina began running a temperature just days after her family had gotten to safety and found accommodation at a hotel in Marmaris. In a bid to help the family, Ashley has set up a GoFundMe page to help them afford some basic essentials and hospital treatment for Madina.
