Extensive testing shows there are no excessive levels of chemicals in the air or in the water, according to Ohio Department of Health Director Dr. Bruce Vanderhoff.

Medical professionals will be in East Palestine starting on Monday, DeWine said, though this is not from any concerns over the air or water quality.

In a joint statement released Friday, Governor DeWine and FEMA announced that FEMA they will be sending a team to East Palestine Saturday. Following further discussions with FEMA tonight, they will be deploying federal resources to East Palestine.
