I think I work with a couple of them.
I see quite a few like this in my ED. They all have mental health issues in one form or another. Usually present with physical problems, either real or imagined. They all need and are deserving of help. Please be careful before you start scapegoating. Could be you one day

All a and es should have a out of hours doctors surgery in them so money can be saved
They should start charging people who take advance of the NHS. It’s the only way to prevent it.

My grand parents worked their entire life’s paying into the NHS and died without taking a penny back so did my parents, suspect so shall I and my family and 90% of the hard working tax payers. But it is be destroyed by people that have given nothing and just take take take.

Put these nutters in a cell. Then they will not 'get sick' everyday.
Triage and filter before. If a visit is flippant, ie cold or flu stop A&E excepting them, unless with breathing and known respiratory or heart problems. GP's should deal with most instances in the Winter. Not A&E at hospitals. The answer cancel labours GP contract and negociate.
the NHS is free to those who need it for GENUINE reasons to some its an excuse to just go in and take advantage.
New law. NHS services only available to you if you work. Problem solved. Get made redundant? Its available for 6 months and stops at that point until you return to work. Only dossers will argue.
