Trudeau offers a Band-Aid for our bleeding health care system

for Canadian seniors than for those between the ages of 15 and 64. An ever-increasing proportion of older Canadians, living longer than ever, will put relentless pressure on the system.

Indeed, Ottawa’s offer includes a lot of talk about sharing data and measuring progress and attaching strings to bilateral agreements on shared priorities. It is silent on experimentation with alternative forms of delivering publicly funded health care services. This amounts to tacit encouragement for the provinces to test the limits of the Canada Health Act. But it is doubtful that this will be enough to fix the system.

Why do Canadians not have the exact same healthcare that our politicians whom are supposed to represent us have? How come these politicians have better health benefits and have the nerve to say he’s investing in Canadians?

Provinces are in charge of their own health care and have done nothing with the money they receive from the feds, they send more and the Provinces spend more on what? Waste?

What, are you competing with PostMedia to be as right wing as possible?

And you would do,,,,, Oh nothing’ just complain.

If we were located in Ukraine, the funds would flow.

What about provinces that have surpluses? Why are they not using it for healthcare instead complaining that funds are not enough.

The healthcare system is bleeding because of conservative provincial governments…

It didn’t matter how much money Trudeau gave the provinces, the & the editorial board had their negative anti-Trudeau (since day 1) op-Ed’s READY!! 🫵 🎯
