Island doctor calls for leadership resignationA doctor in northern Vancouver Island is calling for Island Health's chief medical health officer to resign amid what he calls a crisis. Most of the leadership better start resigning or getting to work soon. I honestly don’t think the province wants to solve this until the feds give them more money. If the prov fixes the problem why would the fed gov give them more money It is concerning that the govt has 100% control of the access to medical care. Very hard to keep govt accountable. Very difficult to implement changes as well. Govt legislates, funds & delivers care - conflict of interest?
