No mention of hormones and insulin resistance. No discussion about factory produced seed oils and inflammation. And what about the tens of millions of people who follow goverment and institutional nutrition guidelines and develop type 2 diabetes and fatty liver disease.

People need to be aware that keto stands for ketones which can lead to ketosis, and kidney failure. Bad news.

Any book on diet you read had copius amounts of evidence attached. Keto diet is not unusual in this. I think the key is (which is covered in this article) is how difficult it is to stick to the diet.

I feel this article is undermined by the fact that the author is also plugging her own diet book

In fact there is a lot of evidence - eating good fats like avocado.
