Bezzubetz says she had not seen the report, doesn’t know who was on the distribution list or if the report was delivered before or after she left. “Paternalistic methods of treatment fail Canadians who are coping with mental illnesses and issues related to substances, and it is time for radical change,” said Bezzubetz in the article.

But the change demanded a significant transformation.
