Shropshire sports stars are calling on others to get involved in a potentially life-saving initiative to raise awareness about cancer in the community.

Shrewsbury Town players Elliott Bennett and Matthew Pennington with Holly Corrigan from Qube and Miranda Ashwell, LiveLife Project Lead for Lingen Davies Cancer Fund.

Regional charity the Lingen Davies Cancer Fund is leading the work locally in partnership with Oswestry-based Qube community group, NHS Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, Shropshire Council, and Telford & Wrekin Council. They have been created in Mandarin, Ukranian, Polish, Bulgarian, and Punjabi, and are available for use by community health groups and organisations.
