It states there was a history of these infractions. In my opinion, when a company has a record like this that results in a very serious injury or death, somebody should be going to jail. One other point I would like to make is why do we not hear about employees being fined for not following occupational health and safety requirements when their actions result in serious injury or death? We focus on the companies, but there are some very responsible employers out there. I am not trying to blame the victim, but these responsibilities run both ways.Article contentAct
