Some Giant Tiger clothing items have been recalled due to the potential presence of mould. ContributedOTTAWA, Ont. — Health Canada has issued a recall warning for some clothing like sleepwear, robes and ski pants sold at Giant Tiger due to the possible presence of mould.

Giant Tiger sleepwear brands monkey bars, Bella & Birdie, Mountain Ridge, Survival Gear and Carisma have been included in the recall.Anyone who has bought any of the items are urged to immediately stop using them and return them to Giant Tiger for a refund. The affected sleepwear and robes were sold in Canada between October and November last year. As of Dec. 21, 2022, no injuries related to the recalled products have been reported to Health Canada.

The company has reported that a total of 4,511, 970, 637 and 1,675 units of the affected sleepwear, robes, Pajar ski pants, and men's ski pants, respectively, were sold in Canada.It has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
