The healthboard wants to hear about what support people might need to get home pre-noon.

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is asking for the public’s feedback and experience of being discharged from hospital.

The survey forms part of the ‘Home for Lunch’ initiative, which is aimed at those patients ready to go home and not reliant on any additional care services being put in place ahead of going home. The campaign seeks to highlight the benefits of being discharged as early in the day as possible, both on the patient going home, and on patient flow through the rest of the hospital.

“That’s why it’s so important for us to understand what support you might need to get home. This can be as simple as having a conversation with your nursing team alongside your loved ones so we can plan your discharge together, provide any additional support if required and ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible.
