“For St James's we reduced the waiting list by 60 per cent in a year for dermatology.” Eoin O’Reilly, founder of DermView, talks about how his firm is improving the treatment of skin conditions – and the personal circumstances that led him to found it.

Personal necessity was what inspired Eoin O’Reilly to set up DermView, the Irish medtech business.

The company’s technology enables patients to receive fast diagnoses of skin cancer and other skin aliments, and provides people with access to GPs, surgeons, consultant dermatologists and plastic surgeons within a 12-week time frame, according to O’Reilly, who himself has a varied business background.
