“I couldn’t face it anymore on my own”. Soaring inflation and unmanageable bills are taking a toll on people’s mental health. East Durham Veterans provides support for those struggling. Anja_Popp reports.

Now the cost of living crisis and soaring inflation are piling even more pressure on people who are already struggling to pay their bills. And that’s taking a toll on their mental health.

While the Government has promised financial support for vulnerable people -including £2.3 billion over the next year to boost mental health services- many are turning to charities for help.
