It’s unfortunate, however besides lockdowns it’s likely a backlash has emerged due mandates and cohesion to inject more recent vaccines; that may or may not have had the initial desired effect and/or illicited unexpected or unexplainable side effects.

That's what happens when you hide adverse reactions to a certain experiment, permanently destroying trust in the entire system. Being truthful and transparent about risks goes a long way toward establishing trust, but they lied and people died.
