White man sues six Texas medical schools, alleging they illegally consider race, gender in admissions

WASHINGTON, DC - AUGUST 02: Senior Advisor to the President for Policy Stephen Miller talks to reporters about President Donald Trump's support for creating a 'merit-based immigration system' in the James Brady Press Briefing Room at the White House August 2, 2017 in Washington, DC. Earlier in the day President Donald Trump signed bipartisan legislation into law placing new sanctions on Russia and reducing his ability to lift the sanctions on Moscow.

His legal effort is the latest filed by the America First Legal Foundation in what it has called a “national crusade” against affirmative action. The group, founded by Donald Trump’s former senior advisor Stephen Miller, has paired on the case with Jonathan Mitchell, a former solicitor general for Texas who constructed the state’s six-week abortion ban.

All six of the Texas schools rejected Stewart, despite his 3.96 grade point average from UT-Austin, a 511 score out of 528 on the qualifying test known as the MCAT, and experience interning and volunteering at a few medical schools and laboratories, America First lawyers said in the lawsuit. America First attorneys singled out the University of Texas Medical Branch in court documents, alleging they have particularly stated intentions to admit underrepresented and economically-disadvantaged students in an effort to become more representative of the demographics of Texas.

White man upset because he actually has to make the grades to compete and can’t coast in his double privilege (like his father and grandfather before him). There, I fixed it!

claiming he was a top student in his briefs. The Chronicle should substantiate claims before reporting this crap. Last lawsuit (last idiot) that alleged similar claims here in TX, was like a white person with a 2.5 GPA whining because a black person with a 2.4 got into UT.

The six medical schools deserved to be sued for racial discrimination!!

StephenM is doing amazing work. is fakenews and a racist propaganda paper that is failing!!!

Need to have my knee replaced soon. I don't want a Asian Dr, don't want a black Dr, don't want a Hispanic Dr, don't want a white Dr, I want the best Dr. I want the top of the class Dr.

Was Stephen Miller that white man? Otherwise, this is a strange editorial choice for this tweet.

No shit.
