Elon Musk tells Twitter employees he's available to discuss urgent product needs: 'We are going to agonize until we achieve as close to the perfect product as possible'

Musk has overseen a series of product changes since he bought the platform in October.

He has overhauled Twitter's subscription service to allow users to pay for Twitter's verified blue ticks and introduced view counts for tweets. The view count feature has been somewhat"extremely hardcore" working culture at Twitter, following his takeover. In November, he told employees to be prepared to work long hours at a high intensity if they committed to staying at Twitter 2.0.

Musk said those unwilling to commit to that new working culture would be laid off with three months' severance. Representatives for Twitter did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment made outside normal working hours.Subscribe to push notifications

Cry more, we don’t care. Y’all petty, obsessed walking L’s 🤡💩🚮 UK is a joke! They don’t even have freedom of speech 🤡👎 Ahhh, all the poor wokies got canned and they're upset. Only ones I feel sorry for are the ones that actually did their job w/ out pushing narratives; to the rest, suck it.
