Fresh talks are underway between unions and the Government in a bid to halt further NHS strikes.

The British Medical Association is meeting with Health Secretary Steve Barclay at 10am to discuss an ongoing dispute over pay and conditions, which has seen a wave of strikes among healthcare workers. The hospital doctors union, HCSA, and the British Dental Association are also involved in discussions.

Paramedics walked out yesterday during a second wave of strike action, spanning around 20,000 ambulance workers, including paramedics, emergency call handlers and technicians.Exclusive

Steve Barclay should ask for a bill to cut the pay of the executives that get paid up to £300,000 and pay the nurses with that. Also cash needs to be injected into the residential and home care sector to help avoid bed blocking. SaveTheNHS StopTheLeeches
