Play Video

While not giving out details of an announcement that is expected next Monday, Ford did make one thing clear, no one will pay out of pocket. supportive of this idea calling for a model for surgery that would, “include a greater portion of services delivered in community-based specialty settings outside of hospitals.”

The plan is expected to start with moving some basic cataract surgeries out of hospital settings and into IHF facilities. Those include not-for-profit clinics like Kensington in downtown Toronto as well as private clinics which will be paid for by OHIP.

brianlilley Time for nurse , drs, lab workers, technicians, aides all get together at every hospitals and say no period. Only a joint walkout will stop Ford from privatizing health care just like school workers got him to remove back to work orders and notwithstanding clause use

brianlilley I think private care is about to come out large. Any procedures that actually make money for hospitals are about to be farmed out to private care

brianlilley Sellout

brianlilley Thank you

brianlilley Lilley said on Talk 1010 that eating out in restaurants is the same as Healthcare and both should be in private hands.

brianlilley The road to privatization

brianlilley Oh boy Buyers remorse on electing a liberal disguised as a conservative

brianlilley Oh Good god wtf is he going to destroy now

brianlilley Hold onto your hat folks

brianlilley *SIGH*

brianlilley Ah, the fam, ours Ford announcement that I’m going to make an announcement about an upcoming announcement.

brianlilley My guess he's gonna say that he is accepting all fed govt's conditions for Healthcare money transfer from fed coffer to ON! Will be like what he did with the vax pass. 1st Ford said no no vax pass, then caved in to Trudeau's pressure & forced all businesses to use vax pass 🫤

brianlilley

brianlilley We are waiting for you to say something about the investigation into Fords Greenbelt lies and corruption.

brianlilley I'm sure it'll be well thought out and good for all Ontarians.

brianlilley Major changes? What a joke. That leftist Ford doesn't have the brains or the guts to make real changes to our self-destructing socialist healthcare system. Tinkering with a failed system is more like it.

Salvato14936566 brianlilley Ontarians should have both their credit cards & PC optimum cards ready

brianlilley We're screwed.

brianlilley Dougie doesn't care. Lilley is a bootlicker.

brianlilley This is where the poaching of doctors and nurses start. The depletion of good talent from public care to private care.

brianlilley OH BOY! I cannot wait to see what Ford has up his sleeve now? I bet it includes Shoppers Doug Mart.

brianlilley Yeah.. heh.. Remember he isn’t “for the people”. So this should be interesting to hear. He’s probably going to screw us over even more to make his pockets even bigger.

brianlilley Why does he have to announce he’s going to announce something next week, if you know it now just spill the beans, this guy sure likes to build drama!!

brianlilley Here comes private health care

brianlilley 'A political inertia coupled with a health bureaucracy that is philosophically opposed to such change means we wait for care rather than embrace change.'

brianlilley 'Every public health system in a major developed country — be it the U.K, France, Germany, Australia or any comparable country — includes an aspect of private delivery of care inside the public system.'

brianlilley Thanks 17 percent of Ontario you gave us this and thanks to the rest that didn’t vote this is what happens when you don’t vote

brianlilley Finally. A lot of doctors such as family doctors, dedicate majority of their time to cosmetic and beauty operations (Botox and fillers) because it brings in the money without the hurdles of dealing with the government. This is model is better than current one

brianlilley If your going to privatize heath care then you mow stop taking taxes for us for heath care. We all pay a heath tax return it. I can use 1000 dollars better tha you can fuck your ford. Stop making Ontario a 3 world country

brianlilley Yes 🍁ins have too pay more for there nonexistent health care

brianlilley This is what you get when you have a low voter turnout. Next election: Vote!

brianlilley PRIVATIZATION. I will load photos tomorrow, clinics are now huge buildings & according to what I heard have the best nurses & doctors & technicians. Isn't that what we kept talking about for the past 2 years? And guess what's next, EDUCATION. Best, Kleptocracy

brianlilley ColinDMello here come the private hospitals and the big bills for Ontarians. Have you ever had a consultation for cataract surgery where the clinic tried to up,sell you on all of the costs from lens to measurement with the line that govt services have lesser changes for success

brianlilley be careful..

brianlilley Don’t fuck it up fordnation

brianlilley Imagine a world where everything that sounds good worked as such. I'll reserve my opinion until I see how this turns out.

brianlilley Great. I imagine to Tell us how else he is going to destroy ontario and divide the classes even further.

brianlilley Next weeks headline: Ford announces end of public healthcare

brianlilley Doug’s forgotten how many things have been delisted from OHIP so…the statement about credit cards is…well…bullshit

brianlilley This is big news. Exciting news. We all need and deserve better access to healthcare

brianlilley The recent healthcare crisis was engineered to bring in whatever this will be. Do people really think they put together this game plan recently as a reaction to the crisis? Classic problem, reaction, solution.

brianlilley Well I hope the fat ass premier is just listening because nobody is following his health plan.

brianlilley Co-pay and semi private please!

brianlilley More privatized healthcare?

brianlilley He’s completed the Liberals’ mission to destroy our system.

brianlilley Let's hear it from the unions...NO..NO...NO.

brianlilley Brian is such a good journalist he always gets to scoop!! ...oh wait a minute.

brianlilley Ford and Lilley cannot say 3 sentences without deception. Those 27 MRI that will be purchased? You forgot to mention that the gov't is not funding it. Only some operational expenses. Any machines themselves must be 100% paid for by private donation campaigns. 🙄

brianlilley A “little bird” whisper that in Lilley’s ear Across the pillow? So wrong. So gross. So next week DimeBagDuggy is gonna give us his next instalment of “for the people” fuckery. Ffs.

Make it a daily habit. No! fordnation has lost credibility. He chose to spend allocated healthcare funds on his own re-election rigging. Ottawa is already funding Healthcare at 35% w/ the 22% direct funding and the tax points given to the provinces. This BS put out by the premiers is nothing more than a talking point to solicit monies to fund their private healthcare scheme. cdnpoli
