On Tuesday, China's top scientists presented data to a WHO technical advisory group showing no new coronavirus variant had been found in the country of 1.4 billion people.Beijing abruptly reversed its "zero COVID" policy last month. It underscored worries about the accuracy and availability of Beijing's data, hampering the fight against the disease that has killed more than 6.7 million people globally and roiled economies.
"We believe the current numbers being published from China under-represent the true impact of the disease in terms of hospital admissions, in terms of ICU admissions, particularly in terms of death," said Mike Ryan, WHO's emergencies director.

More proof lockdowns don't work. Seems to be a good idea to get some natural immunity happening before a virus evolves into a R11 transmittable virus. Atleast with such a high infection rate new variants will be low as the virus has no need to mutate as it rapidly spreads.
But their data on lockdowns was 100% legit, so much so that we trusted it enough to implement this most extreme policy without debate and turned ourselves into China for 2.5 years.
