Equinox said it wasn't signing up new clients on January 1, calling the month a"fantasy delivered to your door in a pastel-colored box."

Don't businesses reserve the right to not provide service to anyone at any time? It's not as if they are turning people away based on who they are. It's probably more about keeping their employees from being overwhelmed by all the people making and then canceling memberships.
