Here's the solution to this. If you don't have the means to keep your pet healthy. Don't have one.
Emergency vets are the worst for charging exorbitant amounts often because they are the only resort sometimes. I spent thousands on my cat only to have him euthanized a year later. The government should be regulating prices for these services. If you can, avoid emergency vets
I guess veterinarians don't have a code of ethics
Hope she gets her puppy back, not like she was a negligent dog owner
Vets rip off pet owners all the time.
That's a problem these days. Pets are family too but not everyone can afford the proper treatment and are left with no options. I think vets should have a finance company they are affiliated with or be willing to give some kind of terms. In the past 4 months I have spent $2,000
Most vets are taking advantage of how much people love their pets. They charge outrageous amounts for care that make people have to put off taking their pets to the vets for treatment because they can’t afford it. I thought vets just loved animals and not money
Why are you still pushing this sob story? Must be the 10th time in 2 days.
Yep, vet bills can be a bitch. I just finished spending $6000 on my dog read around Christmas. Good times. Make sure you put money away for vet bills. Or have Pet insurance. People think you buy a dog and that’s it you’re done. Not the case.
$7000 to get rid of parvovirus? My dog had it once and I paid $300 to my vet...
