Since the pandemic’s onset, statistics show an overall 14% increase in the number of drinking days per month, but a “41% increase in heavy drinking days among women”

Editor’s Note: In the final two episodes of “This Is Life With Lisa Ling,” the series explores alcoholism in America and interracial marriages . Brook was 34 years old when her use of alcohol escalated, a way of coping with a breast cancer diagnosis. “I just decided I’m not gonna go through this straight,” she told Lisa Lang in an episode of “This Is Life With Lisa Ling,” airing at 9 p.m. ET Sunday on CNN. “I would drink before I went to my chemo sessions.

Alcohol-related problems appear sooner and at lower drinking levels than in men, said the institute, part of the US National Institutes of Health. Women are more susceptible to alcohol-related brain damage and heart disease than men, and studies show women who have one drink a day increase their risk of breast cancer by 5% to 9% compared with those who abstain. You show them sister! So proud of our modern women 🤮

Interesting story. I’ve been sober since 1987, thanks to treatment & AA. I can totally understand why women were drinking during the pandemic. I used to drink at home too back in the day. The pandemic & lockdowns were a perfect storm. Get help. AA is free.

Plz include cigaretts, chocolate, coca cola, nose spray or too much social media for that matter. Addiction is not healthy anyway.

It's rather, that our economies don't give the chance to be one-by-one with oneself and also to consume. Nowadays, if you don't function, you have no future. Even worse, we get sectarianism, which endanger the whole society.

Ugh if people could see their liver and the consequences of heaving drinking

Avoid it all together, if you can. Nothing good comes of it. Have a happy and safe holiday season everyone!

Yeah cause people were depressed cause they weren't going out.

Not surprising with all these men trying to make our lives difficult by making pregnant mares, I mean women and children, forced to carry

That's because brainwashed us with the global Elite agenda. And a lot of you obeyed them.

Our “friends in Washington “ are actively trying to kill us..

And to think you helped in fueling the fear leading to the lockdowns and worthless masking causing it. Now you’re reporting on it. Kind of like our government does all the time… create the panic and offer to take away our rights in order to protect us from the panic.

When you force people to stay inside and mask up everywhere when they’re out, people compensate. FauciLiedMillionsDied

Lockdowns were the single worst policy decision in at least 50 years. Way longer if you don’t count all the racist shit.
