Pope wrote resignation note in case of health impediment

Pope Francis has revealed in an interview published Sunday Dec. 18, 2022 that shortly after being elected pontiff in 2013 he wrote a resignation letter in case medical problems impede him from carrying out duties.

Francis, who turned 86 on Saturday, had surgery in 2021 to repair a bowel narrowing and has been hobbled by knee pain that for months saw him use a wheelchair. Lately, he has increasingly used a cane instead of the wheelchair to get around in public.issues or an accident suddenly leaves a pope unable to do his job, and whether there should be a rule for such instances, Francis replied, “In practice there is already a rule.

Francis said he was sure Bertone would have passed on the letter to the current secretary of state, Parolin.

I was so excited to have a Jesuit pope, as I was schooled by Jesuits...but he has been such a disappointment. I feel no connection to the Vatican. Grateful my diocese isn't kowtowing to a 'woke Pope'.

It need to be updated If you need good health take organic herbs moderately that increase high density lipoproteins(HDL) to clear low density lipoprotein(LDL). I did that and my HDL increased to 51. Normal HDL is 40 to 60. I wouldn't take those herbs if have bile obstruction. who cares?
