The former X Factor judge, 70, suffered a "terrifying medical emergency" on Friday 18 December when she suddenly fell ill while recording a paranormal TV series in California, according to TMZ.

Emergency services were called out to the Glen Tavern Inn - where the ghostly series was being recorded - at around 6.30pm on Friday following a "medical call", where a patient - believed to be Sharon - was transported to Santa Paula hospital.Sharon's recent hospital stay comes after it was reported that she and husband Ozzy Osbourne, 74, are set for a reality TV comeback in the near future.
