Aboriginal Elder of the Narungga People Kerry White says Liberal and Labor governments have “ripped the guts” out of regional and remote Australia over the years.

She said Aboriginal people in rural areas have been trying to pass down their culture while surviving the pressures of living in a “white society”.

“Our health services have gone downhill … infant mortality rates increased, none of the governments or these activists have actually improved anything for the lives of Aboriginal people in rural and remote Australia,” she told Sky News Australia. “And they certainly do not understand Aboriginal culture and Aboriginal people out in rural and remote Australia.”

But not in a racist way.

Since 1788. How come Jacinta Price and Warren Mundine don't talk about it?
