Recruiting and retaining health care workers health minister’s top priority for New YearBenClearyNL Need to hire permanent full/part time so they can get benefits. Not this temporary foolishness so the government don't have to pay benefits. Going to lose a lot of Healthcare workers if this continues BenClearyNL The answer is simple. If an RN's starting salary in NS is $75k, NL has to pay $100k.TomOsborneMHA it's Econ 101, when supply is low , raise the price. Everything else will fall into place when people earn high salaries. BTW, this was ur priority when Johnrockdoc was fired. BenClearyNL Providing free tuition for a nursing class for the next couple of years- I’m sure there are people in NL that would make great nurses but just can’t afford it - and would love to stay in NL. Provide housing - hire RNs & DRs on rotation within NL
