“When there is not an emergency what we're really running the risk of is continuing the prison to school pipeline and having students being criminalized,” said parent Eduardo Valladares.
The San Jose Unified School District has a memorandum of understanding with San Jose police, which sets the rules for what officers can and cannot do when they are on campus. “What we're saying is why did you bring back 32 cops and then your going to make up an advisory committee to study the cops, were saying why didn't you bring 32 counselors and let's study the need for cops,” said Crystal Calhoun with the San Jose Unified Equity Coalition.

So the pro-burn-down-the-town crowd shows up and speaks as if they represent the majority of San Jose. People need to wake up before these wokesters create an unsafe and dangerous police-free environment. If you discipline your kids you don't need to fear the police.
