While the prospects of codifying Roe v. Wade into federal law face high hurdles, Democrats on Capitol Hill are pushing for protections of fertility treatments like in vitro fertilization (IVF).

While the prospects of codifying Roe v. Wade into federal law face high hurdles, Democrats on Capitol Hill are pushing for protections of fertility treatments like in vitro fertilization , which involves the fertilization of multiple eggs. Sens. Patty Murray and Tammy Duckworth introduced legislation on Thursday to ban limitations on assisted reproductive technologies. earlier this year, advocates raised concerns about the future of popular fertility treatments like in vitro fertilization.

"Our bill will assure every family in America that they will be able to get IVF services and not be denied that," Murray told CBS News."What we have seen since the decision is chaos in this country, doctors don't know what they can do. We actually see Republican legislators who are already looking at banning IVF."

Murray told CBS News they are courting Republican votes, and urged former Vice President Mike Pence to push members of his party on the issue. In an interview with CBS News' Margaret Brennan last month,,"I fully support fertility treatments and I think they deserve the protection of the law," Pence, a staunch opponent of abortion, revealed his wife underwent IVF."They gave us great comfort in those long and challenging years that we struggled with infertility in our marriage.

The ONLY thing 'Democrats' are interested in is the unnecessary and inhumane murderous slaughter of millions of innocent children. Any claim the make about 'women's right' or the 'patriarchy' or 'planned' parenthood are nothing more than a smokescreen to disguise this fact. Vile.

So they dont want to kill babies? Confusing times

Don't think this is really a discussion. I don't see a lot of ground tying abortion to IVF. Please build a wall and fix our economy using Trump style policy. We dont need an anti-Trump president; we need a pro American president, whoever that may be.

If SCOUTS said their is no right under the Constitution and thus falls to the states via the 10th amendment, then what could Congress actually do?

Boring. Not boring 👇

Why are these babies protected by 20 month babies shouldn’t be?

Hey why are you not reporting anything about the FBI colluding with big tech to sensor the American people?💕🇺🇸🇨🇦

Anything to deflect…IVF is not illegal…🙄

Outlaw it. If you want a baby, take the unwanted children that need homes. If you don't like that - get a fucking pet rabbit. They can use litter boxes.

Protect the parenthood desires of affluent white couples
