Additional COVID and flu shot clinics are opening in C.B.S., Mount Pearl and the Freshwater Community Centre in Placentia.

Eastern health is opening more flu and COVID-19 vaccine clinics in response to a spike in respiratory illnesses. - FileST. JOHN'S, N.L. — Eastern Health is opening more flu and COVID-19 vaccine clinics for all ages in response to a surge in respiratory illnesses.

While the clinics are open to all ages, the health authority said there will be a focus on the vulnerable population aged six months to 18 years old.Another clinic will be open at Mount Pearl Square on Saturday, Dec. 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Monday, Dec. 19, from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. A clinic will also be available at the Freshwater Community Centre in Placentia on Tuesday, Dec. 20, from 1:30-7 p.m.
