We must always be our best advocate!

Cuz we needed a study to prove what women have been saying for decades, that women aren't listened to. 🙄 The irony, it burns us, precious.

I’m a 52 year old woman, and I’ve had to bring my husband to medical appointments over the years to be taken seriously. It’s shocking how different the tenor of medical professionals tone changes when I have him in the room vs. attending an appointment solo.

Forget religion, the new opium of the people is not religion anymore, it’s opium itself, escape into drugs. Real opium was for the rich, in Marx's time.

We need a better way to describe pain. A 1-10 pain scale isn’t enough. Long term, multiple causes, and that dealing with mental stresses all change. But if someone can’t function bc of pain, that should be enough to get started.

Oh yeah? Source Material please, this looks like FakeNews to support your Lame Left Agenda

Several studies by leftsrds suggest leftards should find more things to divide the nation.

Can confirm.

FUI. The recent crack down on opioid medication has led to a denial of pain relief for everyone. Pain patients are committing suicide out there.

WE KNOW!

well if they know what's really causing it and it's part of a massive conspiracy of what really goes on in the world and if they want to continue using the person & trying to cage/control them..

Too true

stephaniesighs God, you guys are such a joke.

JoeNunya777 Yup, or they try to infer you are a drug seeker. Chronic pain is no joke.

The anecdote about the neurologist being unable to get a brain scan was infuriating. But all of the stories are horrible. Also sad there aren’t alternatives to fentanyl as the standard for pain management given that fentanyl is the leading cause of death ages 18-49.

I actually worked at the hospital/clinic as cleaning lady. I had sprained my ankle prior to shift that night, went in anways as we were super short staffed that night and worked my shift on it. Then went into the ER. ER doc refused to grant me time off, and told me they

I have hypothyroidism but for years my male doctor didn’t even test for it even though I had 9/10 symptoms, refused to accept I knew my body. Got new female Dr, test results weren’t borderline, she didn’t know how I got up in morning. Why did male doctor gaslight me for years.

Gotta be our own advocate with docs! Pinpoint exactly where it hurts - “under my left scapula” was my last one. He got it. And if he didn’t, I was prepared to stay in the room until my words sank into his brain. Grrr.

This is not news
