On his part, the Nasarawa State PDP Chairman, Francis Orogu, expressed optimism to win the Nasarawa West senatorial seat vacated by Senator Abdullahi Adamu, and other political seats in the state.

Our correspondent reports that Adamu vacated the seat as the senator representing the zone when he was elected as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in March, 2022. Also speaking at the event, former Minister of Information and the Director-General of the state PDP campaign, Labaran Maku, called on residents of the state to vote for all candidates of the PDP in the coming elections.
