A NSW teenager who died after contracting meningococcal disease has been identified as a recent high school graduate who was vibrant and full of life. 7NEWS

Ally Behan had just finished school at Ulladulla High School on theWATCH THE VIDEO ABOVE: Spilt Milk meningococcal victim identified.“She was just full of life, a vibrant young girl,” a relative who did not wish to be named told Daily Mail.

It comes as health authorities across the country issue warnings to watch out for the potentially deadly disease. And a West Australian baby is recovering after contracting the potentially deadly disease, sparking another warning for community members to be aware of symptoms. “Although treatable with antibiotics, meningococcal infection can progress very rapidly, so it is important that anyone with these symptoms seeks medical attention urgently,” a WA Health spokesperson said Tuesday.
