Bill 201, which calls specifically for solutions to be publicly funded and publicly delivered, came after Under the bill, if the new delivery standards are not met, then the government will be required to release an action plan to meet them and assess whether service providers have adequate resources and support.
In a statement to Postmedia, Steve Buick, press secretary to Health Minister Jason Copping, dismissed the bill as “just another empty NDP promise” and contrasted it with the work the UCP has done over the past three years to add capacity across the health system and improve access to care.
Weird…add more public service jobs to talk more and do less, sounds like 2015 again, that worked out well
Is Joe still an NDP MLA ?
Let's help RachelNotley and theJagmeetSingh fix healthcare in Alberta. Do this first:
She is not the government. Puff piece from her favorite lefty rag.
She seems to forget that Albertans gave her the boot for her policies.
More masks and restrictions.
Wake up alberta. You can have bureaucracy in the NDP or action in the new UCP. You better choose action especially under this Trudeau government.
Why she didn't do this when she was the premier? A little bit too late don't you think?
She's grandstanding for her 2 boss. Apparently he's making an appearance in Alberta to come and look down on the peasants. Don't get blinded from the glare off his Rolex!
Notley has no right talking about any bill. She spent enough before Alberta ran her out.
After 4 Years as Premier and having pissed away almost 100 Billion, yes with a B, She did not fix the health care system. But now? The gods have bestowed a special wisdom upon her and this time, she knows what to do! Really?
Isnt there already policies in place
And this is standard NDP policy, add a bureaucratic level, by making another reporting system, put more money into it by making every service public which is always more expensive for Less result. This is just another spend more get less from the NDP.
Really after the mess she made last time you're going to trust her again. She increased the cost of Alberta Healthcare she increased wait times and she took resources away from the front lines.
So more world economic forum grifters at the top lol no
I fail to see how more consultation equals better healthcare.
Adding another layer of bureaucracy. That’ll fix the top heavy bureaucratic nightmare that is AHS. Literally the only thing the NDP knows how to do.
