Linda Nolan has been force to deny being drunk in the middle of the day due to side effects of her cancer treatment.

In 2020, the singer revealed her incurable liver cancer and shared thatand a secondary cancer on her pelvis in 2017.– one being that her legs and balance have been affected.Linda didn’t want supermarket staff to think she was drunk in the middle of the day Linda began to: ‘As you know, my cancer is treatable – not curable – so I’m on constant treatments. I did a strong course of chemo where I lost my hair again and I was traumatised again.

‘People said, “Oh, well you lost it before, you must be used to it now,” and I went, “No, no, you never get used to not having any hair.” Then, I stopped the chemo because it was affecting my quality of life.’ She continued: She went on: ‘It affected my legs and I had a fall while I was in town. It was in Marks & Spencer at three o’clock on a Saturday afternoon and when they came to help me up, I said, “I’m not drunk!”.’Linda went on to say she feels like she’s ‘sitting on a time bomb’, despite trying her best to stay positive.Following her liver cancer diagnosis, Linda said she doesn’t want to know what her prognosis is.
