Ivana Trump's NYC townhouse is on the market for $26.5 million. The 1980s time capsule has a gold encrusted library and a pink marble bathroom — take a look inside.

in Manhattan, is filled with lavish 1980s-era meets gilded age decor and finishes such as leopard print furniture, pink marble flooring, and gold-plated trim. All proceeds from the estate sale are slated to go to Ivana's three children: Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and, Ivanka Trump.

"My mom absolutely loved that house," son Eric told The Journal, adding that the property"embodied Ivana Trump." Trump initially purchased the property — which sits between Fifth and Madison avenues — in 1992, the year that her divorce with former president Donald Trump was finalized, according to The Journal. In her 2017 book"Raising Trump," Trump noted that the property needed"significant work" after it had sat empty for nearly 12 years. Before she purchased the property, it was used as a dentist's office, The Journal reported.

In the 30 years that followed, Trump completely overhauled the historic property, which is also known as the the Adolph and Lillian Pavenstadt House. In 1994, she wasfor adding a burgundy canopy over the doorway of the home and gilding the wrought-iron door without the proper permits. Ivana also combined many of the rooms from the building's days as a dentist's office to create her aesthetic. For example, the main closet seems to go"on and on," according to Ivana's book. The property has an entertaining room that is decked out in emerald wallpaper and gold trim that Ivana described as"how Louis XVI would have lived if he had had money," according to The Journal. One of the bedrooms includes a canopy bed and a salmon-colored aesthetic.

Disgusting interior. If you asked a peasant how they would describe rich peoples homes would look like they probably would imagine something like this. Pompous garbage.

That bathroom is a nightmare. The best space is the outdoor garden. Gut job for sure.

Nah

Death & taxes — something most trumps avoid unless your Ivana by stairs

Gaudy.

Why do rich people have such bad taste?

Hideous. Looks like all her taste was in her mouth just like her ex. What a cold uninviting space.

It's an interesting home, rather sophisticated and palatial. Someone will want to buy it 'as is'. I don't recall ever having seen photos of the interior. Thanks for posting.

I honestly can't believe anyone could like any of these decor choices. It's truly beyond hideous and i can't imaging being comfortable in this garish hellscape of a 'home'

To me, looks like the loneliest, coldest, and most putrid dwelling. 🤢

A couple of the bedrooms were pretty but most of it is very tacky. I still think her death 💀 suspicious!

Ummm... Yuck.

Understated elegance it ain't. Guess it's true that money doesn't buy class.

No thanks. Those stairs are dangerous.

Gaudy and hideous

Classless.

So gaudy. Imagine the exorbitant price to redecorate so as not to be nauseated when you walk in. If this is what those people have that makes them happy, I'll stick to my humble digs.

Who got the house when she died

🤮🤮🤮

Can you imagine having to gut a $26m home? Everything in it has to go! (Laughing at the decorative books in the library. Not 1 real book. Sad)

...it also has slippery stairs.

Yuck

Jesus…and will need another 10m for a decent update.
