I don't think this is at all uncommon. Hallways have become wards like an extension of the hospital system with scheduled nurses. Two years ago I spent 3 days in a hallway in BC with doors slamming & people yelling. The day after I got a 'bed' I was sent home. Thankfully.

Why do we have management teams in hospitals? Do they not know how to manage? We need managers who know how to do their jobs, revamp from the top down so the system is successful. Don’t just keep throwing dollars at a collapsing system.
