The Commissioner for Health and Human Services in Ekiti State, Dr Oyebanji Filani has assured the leadership of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) in

the state that the state governor, Abiodun Abayomi Oyebanji would abolish pay disparities which have been part of the reason for the brain drain syndrome among the medical professionals.

The Chairman of NMA in Ekiti State, Dr Babatunde Rosiji presented the challenges militating against healthcare delivery in the state. He also noted that the health system in the state needs urgent action to save it from total collapse.
