The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention new recommendations are an update to 2016 guidelines that added momentum to a decline in opioid painkiller prescriptions. Government has been losing out on drug sales due to heroin and fentanyl, gotta get that money back. We just had 2 huge settlements from pharmacies filling opioid scripts, a current drug epidemic is raging and we are softening the stance? Adding 'safe, and compassionate' diesnt mean squat. INB4 the opioid crisis gets even worse.
