Durham Region emergency departments “continue to experience critical staffing shortages and high patient volumes”, according to a joint statement issued Saturday by Lakeridge Health and the Region of Durham Paramedic Services (RDPS).

“This is impacting overall wait times for less acute patients and increasing the time that RDPS is able to offload ambulances at Lakeridge Health hospitals,” it reads.

Lakeridge Health has a website detailing all the urgent care options available that residents can refer to, which also includes an estimated wait time tracker at their four emergency departments. At the time of this article’s publication, the average wait time In Oshawa was two hours and 42 minutes, while those in Ajax-Pickering could expect to wait an average of five or more hours.

Unvax nurses have pretty much been proven they're only a risk to themselves while the vax status hiring policy is proving to be harful to society

Listen to the experts they said as they filled ICU rooms with bio weapons and risky jabs and lost experts to rape for a job mandates lol

High volumes because jabs are the bio weapon and they work so well to prevent transmission and infection and illness so much we need masks back and mandates and federal rape for a job laws?

So are we paying less taxes now due to all the staff shortage since workers are not working?

Maybe drop the vaccine mandates

“Critical” I will use that word in a sentence! It is absolutely critical that Durham region emergency departments re-hire the unvaccinated.

It isn’t critical if they haven’t tried to hire back the people the fired for refusing an ineffective shot.

Until bringing back fired unvaccinated staff is being considered there is no staffing shortage.

Bring back the health care workers who chose bodily autonomy!!

Everybody should let go, to bring a decent and professional staff.

Where’s the investigative journalism? What are the pre ‘pandemic’ health care worker numbers compared to now? How many positions were added? How many workers were forced out? How many facility managers are there? Was more management rolls added than nurses added? dobetter

There's no doctoring this:

Being back unvaccinated nurses. We all know it was a compliance scam at this point anyway.

Fortunately this institution has been served with a statement of claim on behalf of the terminated Doctors and Nurses....Brave people who made a stand on Canadian Values and Science (NO long-term Safety Data).....These institutions chose wilfully to put their communities at risk

Hows that mass immigration working out?

This is what civilized leaders are doing:

Firing unvaxed nurses was a genius move

Such a stupid fake crisis that can be rectified rather quickly by calling back all unvaxxed staff

It isn’t critical until they bring back staff they terminated

Wonder what happened 🤔

Hire back the healthcare workers you fired because they refused CV19 Gene Therapy treatments/ CV19 vaccine IS NOT a vaccine. Vaccines prevent infection - these injections do not

Have they brought back unvaccinated workers yet?

Bonding in a waiting room with a loved one for 15 hours is one of the great Canadian experiences. Healthcare has never been stronger in Canada. Massive immigration in the last 10 years has outpaced services particularly in healthcare. not like hiring for 7-11 eh ... might be that way for awhile, possibly years.
