SoftBank-backed Cerebral is cutting 20% of its employees as demand for its services shrinks

"We are deeply appreciative of our employees' commitment to our mission and service to Cerebral," the spokesperson said in the statement."We are doing everything we can to support our impacted colleagues as they pursue other opportunities."As part of Cerebral's Core Transformation program we are taking several actions to improve performance as well as efficiency across the organization.

Reducing size of operations teams to account for the sunsetting of non-core programs and reduced growth targetsReducing operating expenses through other efforts, such as vendor contract negotiations and software consolidation
