The National Bureau of Investigation-Central Luzon Regional Office (NBI - CELRO) and NBI Bulacan arrested the owner and the cashier of a warehouse in Bulacan for allegedly selling expired, deformed, and rusted canned goods.

The National Bureau of Investigation-Central Luzon Regional Office and NBI Bulacan arrested the owner and the cashier of a warehouse in Bulacan for allegedly selling expired, deformed, and rusted canned goods.

According to John Consulta's report on "24 Oras," the products were recovered from burned establishments and sold to consumers at lower prices.

The owner of the warehouse, Arnold Pinili, responded saying, “Itong mga ibinebeta naming items some have very few deformities although kina-classify namin siya kung alin yung binebenta namin for human consumption. Syempre we want to help the people na maka-afford sila for less value."The NBI filed a case of violation of the Consumer Act, Food Safety Act, and Food and Drug Administration law against the two suspects.
