COVID-19 situation worsens in Kingston, Ont.

KFL&A Public Health data shows that in late August and early September, COVID-19 hospitalizations began a slow climb before stagnating to around 10 people hospitalized in mid-September.

In a Twitter post, Dr. Evans said, “Latest reported numbers now show COVID-19 hospitalizations in Ontario are exceeding the number we saw during the 1st omicron wave in January 2022.”Kingston’s Providence Manor declares three COVID-19 outbreaks
