The City of Cape Town’s libraries will keep the young ones busy during the upcoming holiday. The City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Community Services and Health, Councillor Patricia van der Ross says the coming school holiday is short, but no less important.
“It’s the last break before learners knuckle down for their final exams of the year and it’s an opportunity to relax and recharge. Holidays are often seen as missed opportunities to learn and grow and where children are potentially exposed to negative social behaviour. With our libraries’ holiday programmes, children can remain engaged in recreational and educational opportunities,” said Ross.
