Caroline Page says her health appointments were 'not fit for purpose' as they were virtual.

A woman with inoperable lung cancer has said she might have been treated sooner if she had received a face-to-face health assessment.

The councillor said her breathlessness and fatigue symptoms were eventually diagnosed as cancer by her GP.Image caption, The Liberal Democrat, who serves on Suffolk County Council, said that after contracting Covid-19 in late 2020 she felt unwell and was referred to a long Covid service and attended virtual sessions by early 2021.

Ms Page said she has always been very active, used to walk and cycle every day, and could work for hours and not get tired.

Bloody hell 😞

and there lies a tale 🥴

How ridiculous. Our wonderful NHS fails again.

GPs are notoriously bad at diagnosing lung cancer. They used to just guess at copd. Now they have luxury of guessing at either copd or long covid. FFS it is time they stop guessing. Lung cancer is quite literally a life or death situation.

Long covid is deadlier according to the fbpe types

Same with my friend, she has now passed away!

So called 'long covid'

Doesn’t surprise, everything is covid until it’s not

Ah, CroPage i am so sorry to hear about this. They do this with everything. Covid covid covid, yeah but what about everything else? I hope you get well soon.

Phew! What a relief.

That's because long covid isn't real

How many deaths can be attributed to Covidian doctors? Thousands at least, I would guess. History will not judge the pandemic response well.

Shocking

It wasn’t caused by the 40 ciggies per day for 40 years?🤔

Typical NHS it’s why I go private not perfect but better than dying

How is it POSSIBLE she was referred to a service by the NHS without them carrying out appropriate diagnostic tests to rule out other easily identified diseases?

RealYeyoZa ⬆️

Well long covid doesn't actually exist so clearly it was always something else.

But experts?

Well shit
