The U.K. has less than 67 million people; the U.S. has more than 320 million. The U.S. healthcare 'industry' overcharges for everything and is a powerful lobby group with Congress. America simply can't afford Universal healthcare at the current U.S. costs per capita. Do the math.

Because in America it is legal for the super wealthy to hand money to politicians. And man of them make money off us Americans going broke paying for healthcare. So politicians, especially the Republican Party is fine with harming Americans as long as they get paid
