An Accrington care home has been criticised by the industry watchdog after its inspectors found out of date medicine and mismatched medicines records.

Yet there were positive points and among them were that staffing levels and recruitment were safe, there were systems to safeguard people from risk of abuse, and residents themselves felt safe. The inspectors said that equality, diversity and dignity was respected, and said: “One person told us: 'Very good, living here'."
