The 6-year-old from Corby has been treated to a magical Disney experience

A 6-year-old boy from Corby who has been called a "walking miracle" after being diagnosed with a very rare disease has been treated to a magical Disney experience by Make-A-Wish® UK. He was given only a 5% chance of survival three years ago, but has amazed doctors with his recovery.

Actor and McFly musician Matt Willis; model and TV star Millie Mackintosh and TV presenter and Strictly Come Dancing star Helen Skelton were among the stars spending time with the children and their families.

Make-A-Wish UK supports children and young people diagnosed with a serious illness or life-limiting condition, by granting them their dearest wish. Medical conditions, complexity of travel and lots of specialist equipment often makes it difficult for families to travel abroad and get the Disney experience so many children want.
