A man has been taken to hospital with upper body injuries after an incident at Malmsbury Youth Justice Centre on Sunday.WorkSafe is making inquiries after an alleged assault on a worker at the Malmsbury Youth Justice CentreIt is the third alleged assault resulting in injuries to the centre's workers in little over a week

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said paramedics were called to Malmsbury, about 100 kilometres north-west of Melbourne, about 7.45pm where "a man suffered upper body injuries and was taken to hospital in a stable condition". A spokesperson for the Community and Public Sector Union said the worker had been kicked and hit with a table tennis bat.The incident follows on from a brawl in the high security La Trobe unit on September 20 whereA code purple was called within days of the event.
